About

Fota Wildlife Park is a 100-acre wildlife park located on Fota Island, near Carrigtwohill, County Cork, Ireland and is dedicated to preserving animal life and habitats in the wild.

Go Team Fota Park is a highly interactive iPad based treasure hunt based at Fota Wildlife Park in Cork. Teams take off on this treasure hunt with iPads in hand, the main objective is to complete as many challenges as possible.

The GPS arrow on teams' iPads will guide them to a number of checkpoints set around the park next to the animal enclosures. At each checkpoint a challenge will pop up on the screen of iPads. These are collaborative based challenges including quiz questions, cryptic clues, photo and video challenges. Teams must try to complete as many checkpoint challenges as possible in order to receive the most points.

Each group can see the location of their competitors on the iPad map which adds to the competition. The team that completes the most challenges and has the most points will be announced as the winner!
